Cub Scout Pack 28 of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), in Croton-on-Hudson NY, welcomes you!

Boys joining the Pack will have the opportunity to earn awards, advancements, patches, medals, and belt loops, build Pinewood Derby race cars and actually race them locally. They will take hikes, go on campouts and field trips. The boys will have the opportunity to attend summer camps and enjoy the outdoors, learn scout skills including citizenship, fire building, knot tying, archery and swimming - all under the supervision of trained personnel.

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

The pancake breakfast is the annual fund raiser for Pack 28. The money raised helps cover the costs of Pack and Den activities.

Karate Demonstration

Sensei Doherty has informed me that the pack meeting on March 9th will work for him for his hopefully annual karate demonstration.

Caroling

Dear Parents,

As announced at the last Pack Meeting all scouts, siblings and parents are warmly invited to join the Bear scouts in their annual tradition of caroling for our local senior citizens. We will be singing Christmas carols, Hanukkah songs and patriotic music for the seniors at Skyview Nursing Home in Croton (1280 Albany Post Road) this Sunday, Dec. 11th at 11:20 am. Please gather at the entrance at 11:20 am to briefly warm up. We will then perform for the seniors at 11:45 in their cafeteria, while they lunch, for approximately 30 minutes.

Daffodil Planting - Saturday October 22nd - 9am to 12pm

Attached is a flier for the annual daffodil planting done in Croton. This is a great way to for our Scouts, and all of us, to help do something good for our environment while showing our willingness to reach out and help beautify our town.

Overknight at Higgins Armory

We have an OverKnight reservation for Saturday - Sunday 11/5-11/6. We are limited to 60 people which means 30 Scouts and 30 adults, roughly. We anticipate this being an active event which will sell out quickly. If we sell out, that means some people will not be able to go. The only way to fairly take reservations are first come first served by PAYMENT. The cost is $50 per person. This includes the admission to the Armory, dinner, snack, and overnight stay (sleeping bags and mats provided by family). If you are interested, please email Patrick DeLasho at
